Being a POLITICIAN in Everyday Life

"I want to be a politician," said no common man/woman ever unless belonging to family with political background. It's usually easy to sit back at your homes and keep criticizing any politician that we can think about. The layman has the tendency to form opinions biased by the media projections and not on the mere facts. There are a lot of negative things that are said about the leaders which casts a shadow on their good qualities. Being a leader is never an easy task because you don't just need a vision but an insight to all the possible backfires that keep happening all the time. We can learn a lot from them if we choose to overlook beyond the corruption and our negativity.

The foremost quality is to have an aim which most of us fail to formulate. Even if we do own one, we lack the dedication to put in the hard work it demands. The politician has a firm aim and knows exactly the requirements to take every step in order to achieve what he intends. Once the goal is set it requires a plan/course of action that would help in marking the aim. One needs to have a appropriate planning and preparation session right from getting the ticket to gathering the funds. He/she takes every action in accordance to get closer to the bulls eye he's taking a serious shot at.

Many of us complain about lack of time but we fail to see that the top notch politicians also have the same number of hours as us and they have a long checklist to tick off before getting the time to rest. Do we notice this ever? Instead we love the blame game that he/she sits idle in air conditioned offices while we toil in sun, rain and cold. We feel like a juggler while trying to balance in between home and work but do try to imagine handling the whole nation where the concern is not just boiling milk but the issues needing immediate attention all the time is an uphill task. We could definitely learn some time management from the political chair.

We are vomiting venom once someone bad mouths us but can we imagine lakhs of people judging and pointing out mistakes on every single action that we take. Even if those are political strategies we fail to see the oodles of patience the leaders have reserved for such times. We break our ties off with friend and relatives over petty issues which should be ignored and not put oil into. Such a tendency will surely lead to a more stress free life. This is another quality that we must imbibe.

An average humans starts ignoring health when the pressure of work builds up but Modi is known to be a befitting example of a leader who prefers to keep the health intact with work. We should never ignore our health issues and have proper food intake and monitored health checkups because haven't we always heard that health is wealth? Then comes the technology part that up-gradation always leads to a better audience via social networking or novice methods to advertise. We should always use the technology to our advantage and should be an eager learner.

Last but not the least comes team work and support from people which a political leader badly requires to achieve success in his field of work but do we all don't need help from our family members or co-workers to run home/work efficiently. A leader must be fixing the clash of egos or converting the negatives to positive opportunities every single minute and we don't have the slightest idea about it. For example, there is half a glass of water. The pessimist would say it's half empty, the optimist will quote its half filled but an opportunist would say it is half filled with water and rest filled with air. So find the opportunist in you and head towards the pinnacle of success.

To sum up I would just say that even when a politician loses he doesn't sit and brood over the spilled milk instead starts planning for his/her newest plan of action to come back with a bang. So being a politician in our personal lives could be an awarding experience.
